And what’s just as impressive is the range of gorgeous wedding venues from vineyards, to working farms and wide open fields. Natural beauty, bushland, rolling hills, amazing country vibes and just a couples of hours drive from Sydney. There’s a lot to love about the Southern Highlands.
The wide reaching region is full of stunning venues with options suitable for all wedding styles. Whether you’re after a romantic cottage, grand gardens, sprawling vineyards or striking architecture, there’s something for you. These are a few of the favourites.
Bendooley Estate
Situated on 200 acres of beautiful land, Bendooley is one of the most sought after venues across the Southern Highlands.
The Robertson Hotel
One of my favourite venues, built in 1924, the Robertson Hotel was considered one of the most luxurious hotels of its time.
Somerley House
Giant forest trees, beautiful gardens and an elegant 1875 built house makes Somerley a magical wedding venue.
The Fitzroy Inn
Located in Mattagong, The Fitzroy Inn features 5 acres historical gardens perfect for the more intimate wedding.
Wildwood
Just over in the Kangaroo Valley, and surrounded by bush and nature beauty, lies the incredibly popular Wildwood.
Kalinya Estate
This beautiful Colonial property, located in Bargo, is a unique and private venue ideal for intimate weddings.
Centennial Vineyards
The Centennial Vineyards is a beautiful venue and restaurant in Bowral with endless rows of beautiful vineyards.
Sylvan Glen Estate
Sylvan Glen Estate is an exclusive, private and charming venue on over 60 acres of beautiful natural land in the Southern Highlands.
